The Why? WordPress.com is fantastic but so very limited. I spent years and years being able to fiddle with the CSS on lj and to be honest, I miss it. This platform is just too limiting. And WP.com’s TOS states that this version (ie: the hosted version) cannot be used to make money. And while I don’t plan on shoving ads down anybody’s throat, there are a few new developments (go to the new blog to see and all thanks to Tiennie for the Imagekind idea!) that directly violate the TOS. So.
Excuse the mess on the new site, still setting up. Hope to see you there!
